We use a service called soundclick.com to host our songs. There's a Zulutexas page, and a page Pat has, called Midwesternwannabe. It's kind of like MP3, but without all the hassle. There's a top 200 most listened to songs that they have, and I was really surprised to see that we had some songs on the charts. Summer was #18 on the soundclick experimental chart. (It's a song about a fly and some rock salt. hmmmm.) Little girl was #26 on the acoustic list, and Midwestern wannabe was #27. I guess there's no accounting for taste.

This is a photograph I took in San Francisco just down the street from MOMA. As usual, it was raining. I was getting out of the rain, standing in this recess along the sidewalk, right across from a fireplug. I love the way the blurring gives it a soft, warm feeling.

It's going to be 6 weeks before I get my computer back. Luckily, I got my laptop wired up, and got DSL going again. I was going through a ton of emails that I've received, and one included a picture from the town hall in Leuvan, Belgium. This is my favorite building in Europe. The architecture is amazing. Along the entire face of the building are these intricate carvings and statues. It's amazing that it didn't get bombed or gutted in world war 2. I used to go drink beer in the square and wander around. Thanks for the pic, Anita!
